Guess I Better Not Try To Buy A Gun

You have to bear with me on this one folks.

PARANOID is when someone who has a "long standing suspiciousness and a mistrust of others".
IDEATION is a word used by psychiatrists when referring to "the formation of ideas and concepts".

I mention these two words for two reasons.

The first reason is my confession.  I have a "longstanding suspicion and a mistrust" of most politicians.  As a result, I have "formulated many ideas and concepts" about numerous politicians over the years.  If you want to verify this you may scroll down the posts of this blog for the past five years plus.

The second reason has to do with the American Psychiatric Association (APA). The APA created a new Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (5th Edition).  This new manual is referred to as DSM-5.  The manual also defines Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD).  The definition for ODD includes adults who exemplify "paranoid ideation" about the government and frequently express these delusional ideations on the internet.

Hmmm...My blog is on the internet and I'm frequently expressing my opinions about politicians in Washington.

Here's the kicker...

Psychiatric manual DSM-5 targets certain internet users as mentally ill and grounds for gun confiscation. By some vague set of criteria, if someone is judged to spend too much time on the internet they could be judged to be mentally ill and ineligible to own a gun, which amounts to  just another backdoor method to disarm citizens who would oppose tyranny being imposed upon America.  For under Obama’s new proposed gun regulations, anyone who has a diagnosable, or is potentially diagnosable for being mentally ill, can have
their gun confiscated.

Guess I better not try to buy a gun.
